CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19) Update

We are recommending that all registered schools of the AJI, closely follow guidelines and recommendations of their respective State, Local and Federal Authorities relative to the Corona Virus. Effective immediately, the AJI will not sponsor, or host any event. This moratorium will continue until government officials have declared that it is safe and prudent to continue. The safety and security of our members, family and community is our utmost concern. Further, all schools should follow guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html For now, all should be guided by local laws and decrees to determine if they are allowed to keep their schools opened. Should you elect to keep your school open, the following are suggested guidelines • Follow all suggested cleansing protocols for hands, surfaces of tables, chairs, mats, objects which are touched and equipment sanitizing, including facilities, mats, uniforms etc... • Anyone exhibiting signs of shortness of breath, coughs, fever or any other flu-like symptoms, should not be permitted. • Anyone feeling ill should immediately be isolated and medical assistance requested Please view the following for guidance. • https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
